At ActiveTalk English, we believe that the stage is the best classroom. On December 21st, we gathered at AEON Mall Bukit Tinggi to provide our students with a powerful platform to express themselves and showcase their English speaking capabilities.
Building “Grit” Through Public Speaking
Public speaking is more than just learning vocabulary; it is about developing Grit. For a child, standing in front of a crowd requires:
- Intense Focus: Staying committed to the message they want to deliver.
- Perseverance: Pushing through nerves and “stage fright” to reach the goalpost.
- Resilience: The “doggedness” to keep going even when the going gets tough.
Watching our students transform their anxiety into confident expression was the highlight of the day. ActiveTalk English is dedicated to helping every child move ahead in life smoothly by mastering the art of fearless communication.
A Celebration of Achievement
Growth deserves to be celebrated! To reward our students for their hard work and stamina, we ended the day with a festive celebration featuring Christmas goodies and McDonald’s treats.
